Leonard Cohen (a poem)

Perhaps reverie

Breath on ear

Wind on chest

Sun winding down

You see Babel

And the tower of love
Tattooed poet punks

In synch

Yet not in harmony

A soliloquy for the ages
You stare

It’s a glare at her Asian eyes

Smile

Cheeks

Eastern girl

Who turns around

Faces you

As you listen to Leonard Cohen
